After a lot of deliberating, I have come to the decision to have a hiatus from rescue and will be closing Merrypigs to all new surrenders as of 28/8/21, except for genuine emergencies.

In light of going back to college as a student veterinary nurse and working full time in practice I'm just not able to keep up with the rescue at the moment - physically and mentally.

This is likely to be a temporary decision whilst I focus on my studies for the next 3 years. Of course we are still here for advice, and always for our previous adopters should they or the piggies need anything.

Merrypigs will be up and running again in the (hopefully not too distant) future!
